Obscure clue (though this may make it very easy for anyone who gets it), there was a team who had a good showing in the Spanish GP today, the drivers have something in common with each other (other than driving for the same team), also in common with this car.

Nope...think about my F1 team clue, what do the two drivers have in common other than driving for the same team? This will pretty much unlock the nationality of this car.
