Looks like a Renault 4CV to me but don't see the firearms connection.

Feel I should point out again though that people shouldn't lose heart after guessing for a matter of hours or even minutes, each round of this game needs to take a little longer for it to be any kind of challenge, and for the thread to survive :)

And is why I also try to make it a car that it not common or very well know but every time I do no one guesses.

i really have no idea, but at first i thought it was a mark ii blit like in your avatar but the lights didn't go high enough and i didn't think you'd make it that obvious.
 
Correct! It's a Mitsubishi RVR Exceed, but it was sold as Space Runner in select European markets.
