So the clues are as follows:

- It's not Asian
- It's not European
- It was built for 1 year only
- It's a 2 seat roadster
- It has an in-line 4 cylinder engine
- It's rear drive
- It's top speed is 200kph/136mph

Mastretta MXT?

It's 220 km/h, just to get it right ;)

Maybe un-blur the pic a little? I'm stumped - everything I thought it could be has already been said.

Re-reading the above, was the Mastretta not right? SWeirdot might have been confirming, but just correcting the speed? The weird thing is, earlier today (and after Axletramp's guess) I got an inkling it might be South American so I googled "mexican car" and in the image search preview, some pics came up and I thought "bingo!"...but it was the Mastretta =/

Nice car though, and another discovery from this thread =)

Both cars made both Mastretta were coupes and the top speed is not right. It could not be the Mastretta.

Also a less blured pic would be nice.

Wikipedia says the top speed was 200kph for one version but then the power was increased. sWeirdot's source might be different and for the more powerful version. Anyway, it does read like Axletramp didn't get it but I wasn't 100% sure ;)

I'm not saying your wrong, but don't take anything Wikipedia has to say as gospel. It is user submitted. Maybe get info from other sources.

The thing is, that axeltramp isn't correct. Althought, you are getting closer. This car has no information from Wikipedia. BUT, I found the car through Wikipedia. It IS from the western hemisphere. Geographically, axeltramp has the closest guess. Hope these clues will make the research easier for you. (BTW, I couldn't even imagine of how hard this on would be. I thought you intelligent people would have it guessed in tops two days. Guess i were wrong ;)
