Guess that Car!

I knew it was El Capitan because it's the only track with that kind of white sand or whatever that's continuous with the track, if you know what I mean. That is, on most tracks there's asphalt, then a white line, then it's grass or sand all of a sudden. Here, the sand layer gets thicker as you get farther from the line. What the heck are you doing in the photo, though? You're awfully sideways for a strip of sand that narrow...

Ha! I'm not even in the sand! I'm still on tarmac. I think you got really lucky with that guess, actually. The pic is basically one of those massive slides that weren't supposed to happen. But it did happen, and made a great pic. 👍

And no it's not a Bluebird. Good guess, though. Guess it's not so obvious after all. But see, that's what happens when 3 different companies ;) try and make a car. You get something unique, yet still common enough.

3 different companies? :boggled: The closest I can think of is the Delorean, but that looks nothing like the car in the picture. I'm stumped.

oKay. Time for a hint.

Aww, this topic is dying...

I've got nothing to do, so I'll post something up for you to try and guess. Be warned: it will be hard.

Sorry man,....beat you to it!

I'll dispense hints freely just in case you're dying to put a pic up tonite, Skyline49. :)

Some sort of GT-R Skyline? I'm guessing the GT-R Vspec 01'...

TVR Cerbera. No, that can't be it. The front fender/windsheild area is all wrong.

How about a Citroen? Citroen Xantia?

hmm.. I'll guess again.

some sort of Lancer Evo.. perhaps the VI?

That bumper...the way it seems almost artsy, rather than purely functional. Something italian?

A Fiat? Is that at least a guess in the right direction?

Nope to all.

I can't answer your last question, Parnelli, but your first hunch (artsy) is right. It's not really functional.

Sorry, nothing yet. I'll give it a bit longer, then I'll post up another image. Also, there are technically 2 main answers. Maybe that will help.
