It's the second one but thats good enough for me. Thought taking a non gore filled screen would make it a little harder but I guess not haha. Your turn again.
 
To be honest, it was the HUD that tipped me off. I knew I recognized it. I only played the demo of the first game, but I knew I recognized it.

Not it, sorry. Although that's not a bad guess. The title does contain with in it the protagonist/animal's name.
