I'll give it another whack.

Ignore the dots, those are there to prevent cheating.
And I erased some of the letters.

Gahh. It's on the tip of my tongue. But I don't know what it is!

Activision? It seems familiar if its not that.

Isnt it Hankook? Ive allways tought it is. ;(

This is the Hankook logo

The V in the Activision logo isn't tilted like that, so I don't think that that's it.

No to all, I will uncover more letters in a few hours if nobody gets it.

Again, ignore all of the colours, it's just the black line and the "PV".

I'm really bad at this and it's my own thread :dopey: I have no idea what that is.

That's alright, it's not a common logo anyways.
It was used in the mid/late 80s.
I'll get another letter uncovered.
And there we are, I swear it gets harder and harder to protect it each time.

Again, you're only looking at the black letters and the black line that's part of the "V".

I feel like as soon as this is revealed it's going to be one of those "Ohhhhhhhhhhh duh" moments

Thats a motorbike gear logo i think.

Bopop4
I don't think so, it's rare.

Oh I guess it won't be a duh moment if it's a motorcycle logo

Exactly, dropping a big hint now.
It's like the VTEC of smokers.

A guess to keep this thread going. I know nothing about motorbikes but I'm going to guess YPVF.

No, and I need the full name, because I've given most of the letters away.

(Once you do get the full name though, it'll just take a quick google search to get the answer.)

Yamaha Power Valve System.

Got a little easier once I noticed the Yamaha bikes in your sig.

Ding ding ding!

That is correct, and the YPVS changes the port height, and when activated it brings the powerband closer to the bottom of the rev range. Just like VTEC.
Which is a good thing, because I thought the bike was broken, and then I realized that I was under 7,000rpm.

A DT nearly killed me years ago due to this exact reason. Power Band my bottom, more like Hyperdrive Band!

Okay, here we go:

I've added the GTP logo to prevent cheating, but the logo is only the red.

I swear I've seen that logo before, but I can't put a name to it.

It's not a shoe company. Perhaps they may have made shoes in the past (although I doubt it), regardless, they are famous for something else.
