Some people forget that the XJ220 was the fastest car in the world from 1992 until 1994, which is the supercar equivalent of 5 minutes, when the McLaren F1 arrived. Jaguar's ambitious plans were for the XJ220 to be V12 and AWD but it ended up as a V6 and RWD.
