i know this is off topic, but is there any way to make true random failures in FS2004?, as far as i know you have to choose the type of failure and choose what time you want it to happen and how long etc. but i want true random failures, is there anyway of making this happen??

Yes! It is a 720.

AA didn't want to 'confuse' passengers, so they just painted 707 Astrojet instead.

Now I'm going to be a total pain in the butt...

Ask AA that question. I guess AA had a whole ad campaign with 'Astrojets' and the 707 and then all of a sudden this baby 707 shows up called the 720. I guess they just thought it would be too much for the average passenger.

It's not the Wright Flyer, that'd be too easy. It's probably one of their planes that came after it.

Here's a program that allows random failures in FS2004, the only failure program that works for FS2004 right now. http://www.flytechsoft.com/

i thought the wright flyer was too obvious

thanks alot for the link, why doesnt FS2004 have random failures?, i know FS 95 did

It cant be THE wright flyer - the pilots are sitting rather then lying on their stomachs.

I don't know. Microsoft has been ignoring some major problems since FS2000.

FS2004 can only do random failures in a set amount of time like: 1 to 99 min. The Alert! program allows failures at anytime.

i didnt even realise ya could even do that, i am about to reinstall it and check it out

i was just checking in FS2004 and you can set random failures between i time of your choice (and systems of your choice). does this mean the systems WILL fail sometime in the period of time you choose, or does it mean the systems CAN fail between the time you choose???

and i can set the time upto 600mins

Dunno, but the one hanging behind it is a Fokker D-VII.

Wright model b,c,d,e,f,ch,r,ex,g,h,k,n,lol,F18,B52!!!?
wright military flyer?
flyer1
flyer2
flyer3
?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Well, it is the Wright Military Flyer, but I don't think that was very sportsmanlike to just list every single plane the Wright Brothers made, DuanQ....

Yeah, I have to agree, and as the thread starter I'm going to excercise my privelege - especially since I got the Fokker with no reference. So we'll call the Wright product a draw and I'll post another picture and move on from there.

The systems will fail in that time period.

Yeah, American. The nose does look Moth-like, but like EvO said, the wings are wrong, and so is the rudder...

I am pretty sure it isnt a Stinson, Stearman, Curtiss and Navy Aircraft Factory Plane. I am all tapped out with idea's. :grumpy:

Sorry about that. The problem is all the models are almost identical so it was either a case of filling up loads of posts with guesses, or putting them all in one. Sorry, won't happen again. :)
