Nope, sorry chaps...

Another couple of clues - I knew this would be a hard one :D Although you will kick yourselves, since they were once arguably the biggest band in the world, albeit with several original members gone.

Clue: Originally a UK blues band, the band takes it's name from the surnames of two members of the group (here shown on the extreme left and the extreme right of the picture) - although neither was ever the 'front man' or even the creative force in the band. In this original set up, the creative genius was the guy standing 2nd from left with the guitar, but he suffered from mental illness and had to retire from the band by the late 1960's. In the 1970's, the band recruited a male and female duo from California, who then became the main creative force in the group, radically changing their style from rock to FM radio pop/rock...

Here is the more famous line up, the two original members seen middle and top middle, and the new American contigent left and right - although taken in the early-mid 70's, this is still the current line-up of the group today.

Just for the record, TheCracker got that before I posted the second picture...

Mick Fleetwood (drummer, hippy guy in the middle of the second picture) and John McVie (top middle) came up with the name 'Fleetwood Mac'... John McVie's wife Christine also joined the band... The original band was fronted by guitar legend Peter Green, who was born and raised within eyeshot of where I am sitting right now (Bethnal Green, London)... The couple who joined the group were originally in a band called 'Buckingham Nicks' (yes, very original, considering their names are Lindsey Buckingham (the bloke) and Stevie Nicks (the girl))...
 
Mick Fleetwood is also 9ft tall!

Not the Moody Blues but the subject of colour, or shades of colour is a big clue to the song they are famous for ;)
 
Wow, I thought it was The Moody Blues as well :crazy: I can't believe it, shows how closely I read stuff in the news! Now I really do know who it is!! ;)
