2. A misfit is banished by his community, and sets out on his own. On the way he encounters other misfits, and together they cooperate to survive the elements and eliminate a terrifying threat to the entire community. As if that isnt enough, the misfit is rewarded by getting pressed into service for a dangerous mission, which can only be accomplished thanks to the deformity that caused him to be ostracized in the first place. In order to cheer him up, Mrs. Claus and some elves enlist an army of large-eyed children for a letter-writing campaign, and settle a territory dispute between two brothers the odd but aptly-named Heat Miser and Cold Miser with the help of Mother Nature. duo17
4. A sullen and misanthropic hermit attempts to spread misery by removing all the superficial trappings of Christmas: decorations, presents, food, and the like. He is thwarted when the townsfolk carry on with the celebration anyway, forcing him to reanalyze his own emotions.
