Looks quite tight like a karting track... will have to put my thinking head on.

A karting track it is not.
It is actually one of the main circuits in the country it is in.

Ah ha - very clever not using the whole circuit. Would it be by any chance Jyllands-Ringen in Denmark?

Hell-yeah! :D Pretty chuffed about that one. OK, next:

ebisu?

No, Potrero de los funes, argentina
(Just downloaded it 4 rFactor)

Holy Granoly, Batman! That was quick... and good.

BTW: Correct. :grumpy:

as I said before, rFactor is perfect for this thread.

While you sort that out, did you hear marshals.co.uk get a name check during the British GP? I heard that and thought "Jimlaad43 would be so proud"!

Anyway, on with the show... hopefully.

I heard that aswell, also in qualifying when the guy who is in the pits during the race for the bbc(forgot his name) went to do some marshalling at thruxton btcc round. Plato crashed right infront of him, and when a marshal was helping him away from the car he lashed out at the marshal, and then started a rant at the marshal on how dangerous the track was.

Edit: Found the video of the clip on youtube.

Everyone who races in real life owe's so much to marshals, the unsung hero's of racing. What Plato did was competely wrong, and shows completely the wrong atttitude towards vollunteers. Not a good role model atall.

I would say thruxton, but it doesn't have a giant lake in the middle.

Albert park??

Plato is and has always has been a prat anyway, though Matt Neal is more of one. However, its not really surprising to see a driver raging after crashing out, so I wouldn't judge him too harshly on it, the adrenaline pumping and everything, he isn't thinking particularly straight at that moment in time.

I don't think Plato was particularly disrespectful to the marshalls, he was just naturally angry. I doubt the marshall took it too personally because I think they all understood Jason was just pumped up from crashing.

Of course, its not nice to see and Jason should calm down a bit, but its not really surprising and I don't think people should judge him too harshly for it.

I think you're asking for a bit much for every racing driver to jump out of their crashed car with a smile on their face and thank the marshalls anyway! :p

I have to apologise for derailing this thread, but I live pretty close to this track. The only way some of the chicanes can happen if if it was off-road after the first corner...

From my local knowledge, there is no way that Mallory Park in Leicestershire has significant track changes on tarmac to accommodate that.

I would like to know more information about this configuration.

RallyX?

Suzuka?

Rouen Les Essarts?
