I wonder why they arent using the new mercury marauders. Those would be badass high speed chase vehicles. 32v 4.6l V8....hell yeah.

Around here they drive Crown Vics and impalas. Exploders, too.
And suburbans. The usual.

Super-Supra - Where in BC do you live? I'm in Sidney (Near Victoria), formerly from Wetaskiwin, Alberta (near Edmonton).

If you're going to make personal comments to members who havent posted in this particular thread for a while (in this case, over a week) then why don't you just PM them? It's a lot easier.

A lot of those look to me like cars the police siezed, and instead of selling them repainted them as police cars or something. I doubt any police department has the money to use H2s or Jaguars as their squad cars.

however if I was being chased by one of these I think I would wet myself. you just can't win here

Over here we get them driving Impreza's and you see the odd merc or BMW, generally they're Vauxhall's though.

Just for the record, when the Michigan State Police did their yearly test of potential police vehicles in 2002, they did have the H2 in the lineup... 0-60 in 20 seconds and a top speed of 85MPH. I think if a police department does have one, it'd be more for intimidation value than anything. ;)
