It's gotta be 2 - AFAIK Core 2s run in dual-channel which requires RAM be added or upgraded in matching pairs. 3 wouldn't give you that option.Well maybe it doesI've only looked once when I added an extra 256mb that my buddy gave me from his Blackbook for a total of 1.25GB of ram.
I can't remember if I have 512+512+256 or 1024+256 and quite frankly, I don't fee like turning my MBP off and turning it over,![]()
I don't have a Core 2, just a Core Duo.
Edit: Well, I just looked in the System Profiler and apparently I only have 2 slots...

Burnout, you nerd.
I wanted to ask you guys if there's something that actually isn't that amazing with the new iMac, any faults etc. 'Cause it would be good to know before I spend those 1100.
Exactly. Which is why I'll keep the mouse.Yeah, if you appreciate Apples aesthetics enough to plunk down one or two thousand bucks on their products, then you probably also appreciate a super-clean desk (and modern design in general).
I like Apple products and hope to own a MBP one day but the mouse picture is a prime example of design taking a much higher priority over usability. They have got to be THE least comfortable mice I have ever used, and on top of that I don't even think they look that nice.Exactly. Which is why I'll keep the mouse.![]()
I'll assume your hands are below-average in size. If I were to lay my hands on the mouse flat as you have said, all of my fingers would have no where to go (yes, my hands are far above average).Conversely, Apple’s mice are the only ones that I can use for any length of time – all other mice are ergonomic nightmares for me. The thing about Apple’s mice is that they’re much flatter that most mice, so you can literally lay your hand right on top and use the weight of your palm to help clicking. I had a Logitech MX500, and that thing gave me RSI symptoms within two months, because it (and most other “ergo” mice) forces your hand into a strange overly-cupped position that puts a tremendous amount of stress on your tendons.
But maybe that’s just me.Anyway, I can use my Mighty Mouse for gazillions of hours straight without feeling any problems.

Also, the keyboard cord would drive me insane if you have left it the way it is pictured.
Yeah, most likely.I'll assume your hands are below-average in size.
I disabled the side-click, because it was too easy to activate.Yeah, I never said I liked it. Sometimes it's kinda driving me insane, when it leftclicks instead of right-clicks for example. And those side-buttons are pretty f-ing weird too. But it follows the style of the iMac, and it has the 360 degree scroll button.![]()
