As we all know, GT5 is one the most photo-realistic games out there and there are many great photographers which enjoy taking realistic pics (including me) :)

So, I thought I'd make a thread like the Realistic Photo Thread but with a little twist: a guy posts a REAL pic, the others try to recreate that, the most real of the recreations, which is selected by the judge who's the one who posted the real pic, receives the "Close Enough" award and posts his REAL pic for the others to recreate and so on. Hopefully, there will be moments when it's hard, nearly impossible to tell the difference.

Editing is allowed, of course. :)

No matter how good the Gt5 shot is, it will never be realistic enough to fool anyone due to the many tell tale signs.
 
You think so? Well, you know better than me anyway...
I just think something like this is possible in GT5:

Uhhm.. Suppose a specific picture is real; If someone guessed wrong (say they said the picture is from GT5) wouldn't the only other choice for someone to say that the car is real??

Yeah, that's what I said, GT5 is amazing, especially when DarkR takes photos! :)

zzz_pt: I think the problem is not the saturation, is the paint itself, my 458 is rosso corsa and the one in the pic, I think is rubiño metallizzato. Maybe I will try again tonight with the proper color scheme

Try to block out the driver in the cars. That can be a huge give away.

Actually it wasn't that. I noticed the front licence plate.

Hummmm i didn't even see the guy in it hahaha
 
My guess was based off of the tarmac texture, detail level on the wheels and headlamps, and the number plate. However, the number plate can be edited quite convincingly.

I'm assuming that I can go now? If so, have a go at this:

so if I want to duplicate that R8 with GT5, I can edit it to make it look real? or does the copy have to be untouched?

I'm not entirely sure how things are to be done in this thread, but I wanted to post my go at copying the R8, so I made a side by side image...although I think the OP wants a separate image? Also, because the R8 image was small, I made mine small, but I am working on a regular sized one too.



I suppose how darkR posted is the best way to post, but for now I just did one side by side image.
