So Hi there guys, first post :) although I've been snooping here for a while haha. I wasn't sure what sub section this should go under so I just put it in general. Also I apologize of it's old news, so, without further ado:

You'll need the following things

-Cash for the car
-A little patience
-An internet connection (Shouldn't be a problem)

Once you have the cash for the car you're looking for, go to the following URL
Gt5 Cars: Used car search

Enter the info required (The first bunch of cars in the Used Car dealership, and the car you're looking for)

It will search, and if successful it will tell you how many game days it will take for that car to show up (If you don't know, a game day passes for each race joined)

Now, you're going to have to make those days pass, and the fastest way to do that is to:

-Go into B-Spec
-First race in sunday cup
-Enter the race, then immediatly exit
-Don't exit the event, just enter the race again, and repeat.

1 Game day passes each time you enter and leave, if you need to do it for a large amount it would probably be a good idea to keep a counter open (If you don't have a counter app, you can get a web counter here.

Once you've passed the said number of days, the car will show up in the UCD, just as it said it would :sly:

There you go,once again I'm sorry if I have re-posted a bunch of old info or stole anyone's idea, and I hope at least someone finds it useful :D

I just want to point out that the posted method is not the fastest way of refreshing the UCD.
Very helpful thread, though.

It's a useful site. i have only 3 standard cars left to go. I know exactly when they will appear in the ucd :)

Hey man I've completed my collection and I'm more then happy to help out! Which 3 cars do you need, and are they tradeable? I'd gladly send them to you starting tomorrow morning to help someone try to finish a collection when so close!?!

Welcome to GTPlanet. And yes, this is very old news. People have been doing this, or similar, for awhile now. There are other threads on this subject also. I know you're trying to be helpful and all, but if you use the search function before posting, it will help cut down on duplicate threads. Again, welcome to the forums.

To me, the quicker way to make ucd change is to enter in the first liscence test. Faster than entering a race.

Ooooh, Didn't know about that website. 👍 and Welcome!

Hmmmm

I've used the website before when I was chasing the Shelby Series One, who at that point was kicking my butt in the 500 PP Seasonals.

The UCD dealer said I had to wait 1,000 days or something similar for the car to arrive in the UCD, so I went after one in trades instead.

The car has popped up at least 3 times since then, and I've only moved ahead about 150 days since I originally searched for the Shelby with the prediction of 1,000 days.

Odd, because every other slot has been very accurate, or at least the 20 or so I've bought due to their rarity in the UCD.

It depends if you're on ML1 or ML2. I've found that ML1 is very accurate but I've heard bad things about ML2.

I've literally just started posting on GTForums.. (yeah i know a little late) and i've just found this! thanks a lot for sharing, maybe one day ill actually find a Supra RZ '97 before GT decide to make it a premium car! :)

I'm glad he posted it. I didn't know about this trick, regardless that there was a post before about it. Because of his post, I do. I probably wouldn't have learned about it otherwise. Thanks OP.

Like I said, if you have a question or are wondering about something, use the search function. Odds are you'll find what you're looking for as its probably been covered before.

How would I search for something that I didn't know I wanted to search for in the first place?

If you don't know what you want to find, why are you trying to find it in the first place?

I just had a play and no cars were found! lol

There could be many causes. First, you are in a glitch day, and passing one game day will fix that. Second, (this is the nasty one) you have been playing GT5 so long that you are beyond the coverage of the site. 10,000 days in, the site can't do any more. Third is a mix of the two, you are in ML2 and are in the huge gap in the site, and about 1,000 days from now you will be fine.

I think you mean GT5 and not GT6, lol. Think you may be dreaming too much about GT6, lol.

Lol. I wasn't searching. That’s the point. The OP created the post. I was browsing the forum. Being a relatively new post, it was close to the top. That's how I found it. I would never have seen the former posts that discuss this issue; the copyrighted original thread that this evil thread infringed upon is probably buried deep in GT Planet, and could only be found by searching. So, having never heard of the idea, how would I know to search for it? And if I had already heard of it, I probably wouldn’t need to search for it. Search solves nothing in this instance. So, I wasn’t searching for anything. I stumbled across this thread with a good idea in it, and I’m glad it’s here despite the fact that however long ago someone else posted a similar post that I will probably never see. My advice to the forum police: Before you trash a post for infringing upon a previous post, consider that some people who didn’t see the original post might see this one and appreciate it. A happy member that does make.
