Yeah, they encourage you to paint and decorate your guitar and it wont void the warranty if it breaks:p

Personally im looking forward to this. Apparently its made it big time in America so its gonna be interesting to see how it does in europe.

You're gong to love it. It's the best game released in 2005, period.

While there might be some that I play more often, GH is a game that everybody can really get into, and it's a superb game for family gatherings. Last thanksgiving, my in-laws (ages 20 to 50) all really had lots of fun playing the game. Normally, they all leave by around 4pm after dinner. This year, they were still at the house and having fun at 8pm-- and it was all thanks to GH.

The next week, my 48-year-old brother-in-law went out and bought a PS2 specifically for the purpose of playing Guitar Hero.

You're going to loooove it.

Sounds awsome!

How does it work then? Do you have to hit the buttons as they appear on the screen or is there more to it?

Ashley.

The way you would play a guitar if you had the guitar controller, you strum the strings and play the correct note. In this case you strum the strum bar and press the button shown on the screen at the same time.

I love this game! I got it the first day it came out and I've beat it on expert. Got all 5 stars on Easy and Medium, just about done getting 5 stars on Hard.

Expert has a lot of 3 stars still, but I'll get it eventually.

Well, i played it in the local gamestation today, and it just so dam addicting! i couldnt put it down it freaking rocks!

this is a must buy!

Excellent, excellent game. My friend bought it, and we can't stop playing it. Currently I'm part way through expert, and I've completed all but two songs on hard (Cowboys From Hell and Bark At The Moon have impossible solos! )

Finish GH before November. GH2 comes out then. Clicky.

I have had GH for 2 weeks now and have made it through Easy and 60% of the way through Normal. Hard has me a bit concerned and Expert might not ever be completed. :nervous: Of course, I said the same thing about some of the license tests in GT4.

Get ready for a rock encore! RedOctane® announced today that Johnny Napalm and friends will begin touring the US again this Fall in the new videogame “Guitar Hero II™”. Picking up where Guitar Hero™ left off, Guitar Hero II arrives with a new track list, new venues and additional play modes – including the ability to transform the original Gibson SG Guitar Hero Controller into a rhythm, lead or bass guitar.

“Guitar Hero has proved phenomenally successful! Guitar Hero veterans will be able to plug in their Gibson SG Guitar Hero Controllers and rock GH II straight out of the box,” said Kelly Sumner, CEO of RedOctane. “We will really push the envelope with Guitar Hero II. Despite the fact there are many months until release, we’re already implementing exciting features and innovations. This fall we’re going to rock everyone’s world all over again.”

The top-secret sequel song list remains firmly in the rock domain, pulling from a mix of classic rock, ‘hair’ metal, heavy metal, modern rock, and alternative titles. More than 55 songs will be featured in the next installment.

I can't wait, I really loved the first game. I showed it to my girlfriend this weekend and she liked it too, she can play quite a few songs on easy mode already. 👍

For GH II I want some Metallica, Iron Maiden, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd...
