I can understand using the ebrake on real life drifting, but let me ask you guys this, Have you ever use or heard of using the ebrake on real life drag racing? I never heard of it, i believe drag racing is about precision shifting and pedal to the matal all out.

I remember watching a YouTube video of a mustang racing a civic and right after they took off you could see the mustang taillights light up for a sec. But he lost???

My guess. Tail lights indicated he used the regular brakes and applied them to all 4 tires. the e brake is tapping the emergency brake to create a bog in the revs and giving you an unprecedented launch.
