Hola!

I've used a much better camera for capturing the Gymkhana testing in the Focus.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oc20bUSAJ6o

Also, I've been doing some testing with the Imprezza but struggle to get the direct control I'm after for this style of driving, and I'm unsure where I'm going wrong.

I've tried locking the rear diff but the understeer presents a problem.

I've also maxed out my toe in and left my camber alone on zero. I've even tried mimicing the Focus setup on the Imprezza as a starting point but I'm not getting anywhere close.

Any tips anyone?

Maxing out your toe in and not using any camber is definitely contributing to your understeer issues.

I'll post up later when the missus gets off the TV! (Yeah, you know the drill. lol)

But, from memory...

35 Front - 65 Rear Power
Rear LSD - All 60
Rear LSD - 5, 20, 5
Downforce - 0
Front Toe -1.0
Rear Toe +1.0

Now, I realise those toe's are a bit extreme, I don't know how i ended up there - I just did! lol

Also, I've since found on the Impreza that all rear and front LSD 5 gives crazier handling (in a good way).

Buit I hae to confess, I think I've lost my logic with some of these settings.

Gotten a bit settings-blind if you get my meaning. :scared:

Mate you are wwwaaayyy better then me ;)... i want to gymkhana with you to find out how your'e so good ! 👍 :)

Can you give me some pointers on getting maximum oversteer, like uber-silly-maximus-retardo oversteer?

Try locking the rear diff and only sending maybe 15% power to the front wheels. Increase camber on the front to like...3 or 4, you gotta experiment because if you go too far it'll start to hurt your initial turn in. Just a little bit of camber on the rear. Neutral toe up front, a little toe out in the rear, tighten your rear stabilizer, raise rear spring rates, raise rear damping settings slightly, lower front compression damper and maybe lower front spring rates a little.

That should help you get some obnoxious oversteer.

Sorry I get my toes mixed up...lol...the ones on the car...OK now I have a picture of a car with toes lol.

ANYWAY...

Control - Dualshock 3

Engine Stage 3 Upgrade
Turbo Stage 1 Low Range Upgrade

Tyres
Front Comfort Medium
Rear comfort Hard

Gear Ratio - 130Max

LSD All 5 / 60
5 / 60
5 / 60
Torque Dist'n 35 / 65
Brake Bias 0 / 10
Ride Height -50 / -25
Spring 18.0 / 16.0
Damper Ext'n 10 / 9
Damper Comp'n 10 / 9
Anti-Roll Bars 7 / 7
Camber 0 / 0
Toe -0.40 / -1.00
Downforce 5 / 5

I realise there are some extremes there, but remember the driving discipline here.

Any advice is always welcome.

Cheers.

TM.
