Hackers vs. The Planet

Hello:

So the saving feature is not available in endurance races (just noticed).

Big applause for Polyphony Digital. They are more concerned about people hacking the save file than energy waste affecting the planet.

UNBELIEVABLE.

So it is better for them to keep your playstation in pause mode for hours wasting energy and screwing our already abused planet than being exposed to the evil hackers that really make them shiver in fear?

I just lost my admiration for Polyphony Digital and Yamauchi, seriously.

So before any mod locks the thread with the "not in questions excuse", my valid question is:

Can this influential forum do something to let PD know that the planet is the one suffering from this asinine implementation?

Tbh, i think completing the 24h endurance races should be something special to achieve. With a save option its much less special

Well with the amount of money they have I doubt they are concerned about anything but the game/company.

But yes, it was a big flaw not to include a save for endurance races. It would take most people over a week to do a 24 hour race.

Who knows, they may add it in the future. I hope they do, at least they should give us the option of running it online with other drivers, as things stand right now it's crazy.

Should be optional. The planet is way more special than achieving the 24 hour race in various sits while pausing their systems (which is what the vast majority of players will be doing).

I hadn't thought of it that way, but it's stupid whatever way you look at it. It's just one of the things that made me loose respect for PD.

I get maybe 2-3 hrs a night to race, so that means the PS3 has to be on for 8 days straight at minimum to complete one race? I don't think so 👎

This thread gets locked with the same reason your last one got locked. We have a disappointed thread you could use, or I'm sure there are numerous other threads about the lack of a save in endurance races. This one, for example.
