Have a Logitech G920 but any time I plug it in I get the BSOD on my PC.
I've read there are lots of workarounds, some of which are reported to work "sometimes" and tbh I can't be arsed with that. I've had the wheel for years so maybe time to change - any recommendations? Not going to buy a top of the range Fanatec, just looking a mid range decent wheel along the same lines. I looked at the G923(?) but Forza 2023 isn't listed in the supported games so I dunno.

@RikkiGT-R will the wheel be for console or PC? I play on Xbox Series X (XSX) and I have been using the Turtle Beach Velocity One racing wheel and pedal for a year now. I had a Microsoft racing wheel years ago for Xbox 360 but did not keep it for long because I didn't like it. I decided to purchase a wheel after playing FM2023 for about a year or so with a controller. At that time, I wanted a direct drive wheel but did not want to pay the price for Fanatec.

So far racing with the Turtle Beach wheel has been fun. A while back, Forza released an update that inverted the wheel inputs. PC players were able to immediately address this issue. Whereas console players had to wait for Turn 10 to solve the problem. Since then everything has been fine. The wheel has some quirks, but overall I enjoy it.

I think the G923 will work for FM2023. May some G923 owners will chime in and share their experiences with the wheel and game.

I play Forza Motorsport '23 on an Xbox Series X and I've personally been using the Thrustmaster TS-XW, since 2021. It's a bit pricey, starting at 600 euros in Sweden where I live. But it has worked absolutely flawlessly. At 6 nm it's relatively strong and its cooling system is suffiencent enough to never letting it overheat. The cons would be the price, that its belt driven (and not direct drive) and that it was introduced already in 2017. So it's not the latest tech on the market.

There's also the Moza R3, which is a bit cheaper, at around 400 Euros, and also direct drive:

The Turtle Beach Velocity One is a bit pricey, but I've seen that a lot of stores often offers a discount. Offers great strength and direct drive. I found it at around 450 Euros in some stores. Regular price is probably around 700-800 Euros though.

The cheaper Turtle Beach KD3 is weaker but still direct drive:
Starting at just over 400 Euros in Sweden.

But the most budget friendly alternative is probably the Logitech G923. It should work fine with FM '23. It is gear driven and some users don't like the notchy feeling. It's also not the strongest at 2.2 nm of torque. It only costs around 300 Euros though, so it's all a matter of how large your budget is.

I hope this can offer some help 😊

If you can hold off for a couple of days there may be a new Logitech wheel announced shortly. Or not, lots of speculation out there though. That's what I'm hoping for.

I don't have any experience with this wheel. But the Thrustmaster T598 (also avaliable for PC/Xbox) looks very interesting.
