Race starts at 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.


30 minute practice, 30 minute qualification, 5 minute warm up, approximately 1 hour long (lap-based) race with mandatory pitstop.


Car selection & livery (paint job/number) will be used for entire series. You are not allowed to switch vehicles once the first race day is here.


No assists/full damage/real tire wear/real fuel use/penalties & flags on.

Sunday Racers: please post your car, number and livery (paint job & team name). We need the livery because a lot of GT3 cars have the same numbers. For example: Ruf RGT-8 GT3 has two different cars with number 11, the only difference is the team name and paint-jobs.

@swjaxon: Glad you had fun, and you had a good clean race. I knew as soon as I pitted and you got around me that I wouldn't catch you again.

Watch for cheezz to post the results and you can see the time differences between the PRO/AM lap times. You were running in the Amateur room last night. I'd recommend running with us in the AM group for another couple of races to get used to the cars then you can let cheezz know if you're ready to run with the PRO group. Just so you know, some of the PROS (phillips, captinslow, Jacknjill, Speed_Demon, etc.) run laps that if they were on a PC would be world record times on the Steam lap tracker. So think twice before jumping into the deep end with the sharks!

For Sunday we have a full grid, but I've got you down as an alternate. Please be online at 12:45 Eastern time, because I'm pretty sure at least one regular won't be able to make the race and we'll tag you in to fill his position on the grid. Remember that it's a rain race with no assists! See post 213 for more info.

How you liking DiRT, Alex? Rough event to start with! 9:30-10:30 is a pretty decent run time up Pikes. I'm usually much faster on the gravel than the pavement. My Peugeot is squirrely as hell on tarmac.

I'm back from vacation and should be racing this Friday. You can put me down as a Sunday reserve as well.

I ran Pikes Peak last night and it wasn't pretty. Maybe if you changed the "Owned Vehicles" or "Career Engineers" options there would be more participation. It took me a while to figure out the game and start making money. Hell, I'm still trying to figure it out.

@Filapino: I watched your livestream on youtube. That second run up the mixed course didn't end well! lol. BoscoMonster, as in the chocolate syrup?

DiRT didn't do a good job explaining leagues and how to set up events. So if I just select a type of car (ex: 60s) but don't select "owned", does that mean people will be able to choose any 60s car they want, without having to "own" it? Same with career engineers? I thought by selecting owned cars and career engineers I would be letting people use cars they own and are comfortable with. For the next league challenge I'll open it up and won't select owned and career engineers and we'll see how that works. Thanks for the info.

To make money, you can do the daily/weekly/monthly challenges. But to make big money the best way is run a fully rally in career mode and if you score pretty high in the rankings you'll make some big bucks. Career mode money is a lot more than challenge money.

Sorry I didn't make it today guys,had some issues at the house last night and didn't hardly sleep,then had to be up at 4am to cook breakfast at church,when I got home after I crashed hard
