Sunday Season 6: LMP1 Series (12 races)


Race starts at 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

30 minute practice, 30 minute qualification, 5 minute warm up, approximately 1 hour long (lap-based) race with mandatory pitstop.

Car selection & livery (paint job/number) will be used for entire series. You are not allowed to switch vehicles once the first race day begins.

No assists/full damage/real tire wear/real fuel use/penalties & flags on.

We will do a standing start race based on the green light (NOT a rolling/formation lap start to the race)

*** Reminder: Due to rain and/or night races at some tracks, remember to assign headlight and wiper buttons. ***

Are these the final results?
 
As I have missed the first two races and just got home from my hols, thought it might be good idea to try to get used to the car.... can anyone give me a clue as to what kind of times i need to be running to keep up?

I've put in a couple hours of testing at Sakitto, and have managed to dip into the mid 1:27s. That's in race trim, but in the middle of the day.

The race will have a day/night/day cycle, and the tire temps and grip drop off quite severly at night, dropping lap times by a good 5 seconds.

I haven't tried any Quali sims yet. And I've no idea if my times are competative, that's just what I've been able to manage.

The fun race will have 2 different cars. The V8 ford Falcon, and the Ford Escort. The Ford Falcon will be in charge of getting the Ford Escort around coyote nose. The Escort will be fast guys slow guys in the Falcon. The flacon will push the escort around the track. No damaged, or mechanical failure. Need even numbers on drivers.

Nice work Hazard! I'm sad that season is over. I joined half way through and enjoyed the hell out of rwcing with you guys. If only I would have known about fixing brake wear, I could have had 3 podiums :lol:

Also @GUTTERBOY3007, it's not a bit deal, but I'm wondering why I got zero points for Monza. I know I was terrible and in almost last place, but I think I came in 9th or 10th overall...should still be good for a couple points no?
 
getting proper fed up with this game.... why oh why does it skip gears one moment and won't change the next aaaarrrrgggghhhhh frustrated
 
@twitch: let me check with cheezz to see what happened to your points. I couldn't get a screenshot of the finishing places at Monza, so that might be what caused the confusion. I changed out my hard drive but forgot that when you do that you've basically got to start over on all your PS4 apps and tell the PS4 what you want to do. When I tried to screenshot at Monza it wanted to tell me what screenshots are rather than just taking the photo. If anyone has the finishing screenshot please post it to the HFRL PSN Community page.

Also, not sure if it really matters, but it says my car selection is pending - I'm sticking with the #79 Marek RP 339H.
