Thats a load of crap.

Although people that get money for Christmas (or whatever Winter festivity you may celebrate) will be buying it. I won't bother going in stores to buy it. Pre-order all the way baby!
 
Saw that the other day actually.. When I first saw the Combine leader bug thing... I was soooo hoping I can blow it's brains out. COME ON VALVE!
But just think how incredibal the animation on the house blowing up! I mean if more games like that could get that feel, the world would be a better place. Well i'm not sure about that, but it would be alot better place for us gamers! ^_^
But when I first saw that video you posted MachOne, I was thinking, way backing when the first HL came out. How amazing the game play was. I mean it was the real chicken ****. And look how much it has expanded! It really strikes me frozen just thinking what could be next! Half-Life: 10! It makes me wonder what that is going to be about!
And another thing, I hope that this Half-Life 2 will have the Blue Shift, and Opposing Force side episodes also. If that could happen, I could worship Valve. :lol: But this games feel looks very similar to FEAR. Just the shooting and feel. That can only be a good thing!
 
Actually, Blue Shift and OpFor are made by Gearbox, and therefore will not happen (although on ModDB, somebody is making an Op4: Source). Half Life: Episode 3 is confirmed as the final installment in the series. Valve will discontinue the Half-Life series after Half Life: Ep3. I hope they take their damn well time on Ep3, because I want it to have the best climax ever. Maybe Freeman dies (apart from when you keep getting owned by striders and eating shrapnel from grenades). Hopefully it'll be something good.

Yeah. I just realised it was. >.< But whatever. But I havn't really been paying attention to the updates, since I havn't had steam on for awile.
 
I hope there's a massive plot twist or some sort of revelation (like Gordon is actually Jesus or something :D) because the story is a bit boring at the moment.

The story isn't boring... Come on, Gorden escaping on a train with Alyx and big explosion going on behind them. God I want to know what happends next!
 
We pretty much kinda know sorta kinda. Watching the 2nd gameplay video, and putting it with the first kind of gives you a glimpse of how the beginning is gonna be. Alyx gets saved by vorts again, GMan says "You're not supposed to be here" blah blah blah.

I think in the end Gordon is going to kill GMan (if it's possible for him to do so) or something like that.

At the end of HL2, Gordon was SUPPOSED to be put in a slow-time-warp (basically a long, long sleep), but the vorts pulled him out of it, hence why GMan said "Well....we'll see about that" at the beginning of HL2: Ep. 1.
