I'm not reviewing it, because I don't want a flame-war, but here's a review that I completely agree with.

Now if I were to review the game as a whole, combined with multiplayer, I would give it an 11 out of 10, but online play is really not a selling point for the majority of people, so I'll be fair and just leave it at a 9.

Meaning? Awesome game. If you have an xbox, get it.

If you don't have an xbox but liked the first? get it.

If you didn't like the first? Go away. :)
 
But single player is the best part of Halo 2. In fact, it's pretty crappy by comparison to the online multiplayer action. And if so many people like the single player (mission mode) so much, that means the multiplayer has to be freaking awesome. And it is.

any game that can keep my sorry ass glued to the tv until 2 a.m. for 4 consecutive nights is doing something right.
