Use Brave for watch youtube. No publy, and you can block your phone meanwhile still listen youtube.

I use the F-Droid store and downloaded NewPipe. You can just play the audio portion. I work outside and do this all the time with earbuds in

It's not free (or even cheap anymore), but YouTube Premium does that.
