Meh I'm bored and I play this game alot on XBL so here's a quick question. If you had to choose what combination you'd have for a round of slayer what would it be? No noob combos either. (Plasma pistol + Battle Rifle) That sort of stuff. My setup would be a BR and a Shotgun because the BR is good at close range, mid-range, and some of long range but by the time it can't shoot far enough you don't have to worry about it. Unless the opponent has a sniper rifle. Second, obviously a shotgun for close(er) quarters combat.

Funny you mention Halo 2. Heather and I have been playing a LOT of Halo 2 again. Monday night I got 20 kills in a row and it was called "unfriggin believeable" or "in a zone" something like that. Then when the round ended it showed I had 20 in a row without dying.
I still suck really bad with the battle rifle. I usually try to roll with at least the shotgun. I almost never dual wield because I like to have plasma grenades to throw around or stick to people. So I guess I have either the shotgun or battle rifle even though I am not good with it.
Did you just hear the announcement of 4 player co-op for Halo 3??? I am still not sure if its true but the rumor was spreading around yesterday.

Pistol/Sniper & Shotgun.

Close up damage with the shotgun, huge range and one-shot kill with the sniper rifle, or mid-short range with the pistol.

Halo 1 had the better pistol though, could get long range shots with the scope.
