Was playing Team snipers at a friends, i was doing better than a level 23, 21, 28, and a 24.
 
Yea, but i think it takes not as much skill, since any shot with a sniper is a kill, i personally trying to get a headshot, and pissing my brother off. lol

Pistols i havent tried.

I personally love no shields snipers. In Halo 1, me and about 10 other guys would play Hang Em' High Sniper/Rocket CTF. Awesomeness :cool:

I like SWAT aka SCHWAT. Battle Rifles + Magnums - Shields = Insanity.
 
I play boxing, where you can't shoot, but only punch with a plasma.

No sheilds, no grenades, no nothing.
 
Boxing is really fun with 10+ people on a small place like Lockout :) but it's just tedious on a ginourmous place like Waterworks or Containment :ouch:
 
Yeah No shied sniper/pistol at Hang Em High is the best. I think this takes more skill cuz without shields, you're more likely to be killed, which means you have to do whatever it takes to evade and survive.
 
Halo 2 has got to be the best game to get out at any party, it rocks!
Recently at a mates birthday party, we got two tv's and two consoles, linked them and played 6 player, it was awesome!!!!!

P.S. I am king of shotgun, anyone challenges me with an energy sword has NO chance against me and my shotgun :sly:

but if you think about it, it takes less skill to kill, i like just normal snipers cuase it shows how good someone is at aiming. Getting those Boom Headshots, and just cant resist saying that. lol
 
True. You can say that for shielded snipers as well. You won't die the first time around unless it's a headshot. Everything has its flaws.
 
Except for the rockets in Halo 2. :ouch: Lock on, fast as hell, reloads faster than 2 magnums and does 100x the damage. Not fair.
 
Never have the RL on in Juggernaut, Two of my friends were gay and camped with it when they were the juggernaut in a small room.

I play what we call MegaNaut sometimes. MegaNaut has damage resistance, increased given damage, overshields, invisibility, and infinite ammo. Redonculous.
 
I don't know about you all, but I find Zanzibar to be the best split screen level. I'm sure I've spent well over 100 hours on this level goin heads up with buddies.

Favorite Weapon - Sniper Rifle
Least favorite - Needler

Average hit % on a 25 kill max was somewhere around 46%.
 
I love Zanzibar. I got it on Halo Custom Edition, but its really laggy.

My favorite weapon would be the SMG and Battle Rifle, while the least favorite would be Assuault Rifle or Plaxma Rifle.
 
I only play map default weapons on Zanzibar. I've never experienced any lag whatsoever?
 
I'm sure yours is on the Xbox. Mine is on PC with a custom, unsupported version of Halo called Halo Custom Edition as mentioned above. Plus, it may be my PC's grapic processor, which is crap.
 
I find i do the best when I have a SMG and an Energy pistol working as a combo. I zap the shield and take em down with the SMG. I'm also good with a shotgun.

That combination is a very good one. Your opposition would get killed in mid-range combat for sure. The shotgun is just an effin blast.

If I take my headset out though, the idiot's voice comes through the TV speakers though :indiff:

Kinda stinks, but I just adjust the little volume knob on the headset piece to keep my ability to ralk on, but takes away my hearing of the idiot. I really hate it when immature 7 year olds from some random country are on at like 11 PM and just won't shut up! It really doesn't help when my Xbox is in my basement next to my computer/fridge/pantry/CD player and my dad is asleep 4 feet above me and hears the little moron swearing at the top of his lungs. He then thinks I'm playing with some kind of maniacs and makes me turn the 'Box off. :grumpy:

Its been a while since I've been on here but I often check the Halo threads and this post made me chuckle. Here is a guy who seemed pretty annoyed that young kids (he did say 7 but bear with me) get online and swear etc.....

He was born in 1993.
 
Looked over the last page here and what sticks out is the Shotgun. 👍
Shotguns are amazing online.
Same for the semi-auto pistol (don't know the name). Strong little gun with a bunch of punch. Definately my favorite secondary weapon when combined with the smg. 👍
 
2 New maps were just announced on Bungie.net. They will be available April 17th 2007 for only $4.00 total. :) I guess they are old maps from Halo CE but they are re-named and redesigned for Halo 2. :)
1. "Tombstone" - aka "Hang Em High" from Halo CE
2. "Desolation" - aka "Derelict" from Halo CE
When these come out I will have to check them out for sure.
