I just d/l it and its amazing - Just to hear the music again is brilliant.

But thats just wet my appetite for HALO2 more than ever !!
 
TBH I didnt notice it - I was too amazed at the whole thing.

I havent got a huge number of mates that like to play the game so my experience of it has really only been in single player and co-op mode.

Hopefully my broadband connection is quick enough to play mulitplayer o/l when HALO 2 comes out .
 
What I'm looking foreward to the most is there being more than just 2 teams in MP, according to a game magazine there are red, blue, green, and yellow teams so you can have up to 4 seperate teams and the word is that the teams don't have to be even! so if you have 2 really good players it can be like everyone vs 2 people or something crazy like that!

I'd personally say game of the year, but it's all subjective.

Half Life is awesome and all, but it doesn't get me all hyper when I read about it. And I got tired of counterstrike and team fortress a long time ago. That's pretty much all they've got planned on the multiplayer side of things, unless tfc 2 is utterly revolutionary.
 
My girlfriend already pre-paid for Halo 2. All we need to do is wait for it to come in. She is also buying me an x-box because right now I have borrowed her brother in laws x-box for over 6 months. :lol:
 
I just saw this cool Halo 2 commercial on TV.I am seriously thinking about getting an X-box for this game.It's just so awesome.But then again,this will be the only game i would buy for the X-box,most of the other cool games are released on PC aswell,like KOTOR 2.

I'll just wait and see,after i have read a review,i'll decide.

nope, monday night at midnight :) No waiting in line I already paid in full for my collectors edition :D


One thing I'm wondering is about the matching feature where you will be matched with players of your skill level based on the type of game. Will it be the skill of each character (mine, my brothers, my firends etc.) or will it be per gamertag? Cause I don't want my brothers screwing up my stats....
 
I spoke to a friend today who is just as excited as I am about HALO 2. He called me to tell me about a radio ad he'd heard, it goes


(the title music is playing in the background - you know which track I mean, its the one that gets your hairs on end !!) commentator says " On November 9th 2004, work will cease"

If you lived in the Midwest(US) some place released them early. I think the place is called Meijer(sp?) both.

We'll see how well Halo 2 does in the review at Gamespot. They are giving the review/score starting at 12:00 PST on Sunday. Obviously the review is going to be very good.

If you wanted to play Capture the Flag with more than two teams, you can. In fact, you can play with as many as eight teams in one CTF match. You also can have four players on one Xbox Live account, split with individual gamertags. While in four-player split-screen you can have all four players logged onto their own accounts, or one can log on, and three can play as guests
 
yaaaaayyyyyyy it didnt beat gta:san andreas. its out tomorow im going to buy an xbox as well as halo but i dont think ill be getting it because i didnt preorder but you never know in Nz because there aint much people. oh and killzone sucks bad well not to badly but taught me about pre game release hype.
 
9.4 at Gamespot. San andreas beat it! :p beat IGN score too! how was graphics a 9 at GS?
 
Something tells me to fully enjoy this game I'll need to get xbox live. However, this game will attract 'teh 1337 h4xor5 that pwn' like a moth to the flame. But we will see, the ranking system will hopefully help to keep the games fairly even.

yeah I thought that was kind of rich myself, even though san andreas is great, it ain't the marvel that Halo 2 is.

Reviews aren't the be-all-end-all anyway, they're pretty subjective and can vary with the reviewer. Especially if the viewer grew up in California in the early 90's and reaaaally reaaally likes NWA. :dopey:
 
I have SA and will get H2 and I KNOW that I'll enjoy H2 more than SA. Not taking anything away from SA, I can see boredom creeping in whereas with H2 the word boredom isnt even in the dictionary !!!

I will have to agree 100% Not to start a debate war in here of GTA:SA over Halo 2 but I have to say that Halo 2 will be better for sure. And I am pretty much a PS2 fanboy.
I get Halo 2 late tonight woooo woooo 👍
