Halp! Lounge yellow icons mission

So i'm trying to get into a freinds private lounge, however the yellow icon on his cup is missing, as well as all my other freinds who i know are in the lounge, and when i click on the lounge to enter it, it lists nobody in the lounge and i enter it alone. Even though my freinds are waiting for me to get in.

I've reset my BTHub, restarted my PS3 twice, cleared my games cache and restarted the game several times, nothings helping. This is the first time this has happened and i'm completely confused by it.

Try joining a open lounge online, perhaps you were banned?

Nope, i can get into open lobbys without any problems.

Hmm, that is unusual.. Back your game save up to a flash drive, reset your router/modem or whatever and you ps3, than turn your ps3 back on and reload your data from the flash drive and start GT5 back up.. Let me know if that works..
