First off, this is my first post so if this is in the wrong section or would be better suited somewhere else please let me know.
I have a Logitech g920 and when I realized there was no way to have an external handbrake and keep the clutch, I decided to tinker. This isn't going to be super in depth but I'm sure you fellas will figure it out. I haven't seen this mod anywhere so show all your buddies and let me know what you guys think.
Pull off the front face.
Locate the paddle shifter switches.
The goal here is to solder an external switch to the back of one of the paddles. Solder a small gauge wire to each of these points illustrated below.

You'll need to cut a small notch in the housing to run the wires through. Like so:

Crack open the main housing and carefully run the wires through the shaft and out of the housing where you cut the small notch. This is the trickiest part.
You'll need some sort of switch to activate the paddle button. Mine is just a normally open plunger style I had lying around. As for the handbrake, mine cost me about 12 bucks all together and took an hour so throw together. It isn't pretty but it works great.

Wire up the switch, change the settings to make the paddle the handbrake and BOOM. You're good to go. Pros with this mod are that you obviously keep the clutch, but you also retain the paddle button as well because you solder in to the back of it. If you guys want to see a video of it in action let me know and I'll try to get one done for y'all. Thanks!
