Generally, if there's any handbraking to be done (drifting, rally, etc), I'm off the DFGT and back onto a DS3.

Are there DFGT users out there who can manage handbraking with the triangle button on the wheel?

I'm considering reassigning the gear lever as a handbrake (never use it in normal driving). Has anyone else tried this?

I use the gear lever for - for reverse and + for the handbrake. Much easier than the buttons for sure.

I like the way it works. It seems easier to back up if you spin off using the lever and the hand brake is nice for the quick drift especially while steering.

I do this, too. It is annoying trying to back up since the wheel has to turn. Would be nice if I could overload and do rear-view and reverse on -.

👍 Me three.

Me four... there is no other way!

I used to use the stick for gears and the paddles for reverse until one day, in a moment of clarity :dopey:, I decided to change; it worked splendidly 👍

I normally use the circle for handbrake, but the gear lever idea is actually pretty good:tup:

Highlighter attached to an analog stick. Haven't done it, but I am seriously interested in trying it out.

There was a thread somewhere about it. I'll try finding it if there's anything special about it.

Sorry, I dont know how to put pics on thread. :(
but all I really did was got a marker, pulled the end off it, cleaned it out, put it over the analogue, and glued it. then i re-inforced it with hair bobins.
P.s im not a girl. :P

I wouldn't want to do it that way, but I'm definitely going to be trying it out a little differently.

haha HeinS, I beat you to it. It'll work.

I don't know if this will work, but what about using a joystick? I've seen that when I'm using the wheel some of the buttons on the DS3 still function (such as acceleration and braking). So maybe you could use a seperate joystick as the handbrake while driving with the wheel. It's so crazy it just might work:dunce:

You can custom setup buttons ? ME SO HAPPY :)

I use the shifter stick - sometimes in slow supertight corners when my wheel is turned so far that i cant reach paddle anymore. i hope i never do that when i set it to reverse :D
