That's the problem with music these days. Anybody can get a contract. But saying that, what on earth have these two got that makes anybody want to sign them up? Was Louis Walsh attracted by their hairdos? Forgive me, but to put it bluntly they are absolute ****. Now Im not the sort of person to wish violence upon anybody, but put me in a room with a tazer gun and these two numpties and I will have the time of my life.

I have lots of fun on twitter tweeting about how bad they are and then sending it to Jedward's profile. The response from countless teenage girls with major butthurt is absolutely hilarious. The best reason they've come up with for them being famous so far is 'You're just jealous'

Louis Walsh is in a money making zone. I don't blame him for milking every last penny from the Jedward fans.
Jedward are also No 1 in the album chart at the moment so Louis Walsh is laughing all the way to the bank.

Lolling at the fact that one of them broke their leg is rather distasteful, but it's allowed. Stating that you would have preferred to see one of them breaking their neck is not. Don't do this again please...

And to suggest that I am a fan? That is just plain insulting and offensive. I started this thread because they deserved to be slated by as many people as possible and I wanted to see what everybody on here thought. But, as usual, you all like to take the mick.

See, that's how you add humor to a discussion(granted it is a horrible joke), there are certain things you just don't make jokes about, you selected one of them. There is a rule in the Motorsports forum "you will not wish injury on anyone", I would guess that applies to the rest of the forum as well.
Typically when someone dislikes something they just ignore it and act like it doesn't exist.

I agree though, Jedward are pretty damn bad.

Two of my ex-flatmates went to see them live at a club here and wouldn't shut up about it for weeks. The key part of that sentence is 'ex'.
Don't really know why everyone gets so hate-filled, though. They're irritating enough, but so are mosquito bites and I don't go tweeting incessantly about those. Ignore 'em and they'll go away.

To be honest, with so much good music out there to be reviewed and discussed, it amazes me that people even bother to make hatred threads at all.
It's a shame that between this & the Justin Bieber thread the music forum is somewhat more active for hatred rather than appreciation. 👎
Admittedly there always been 🤬 awful music, performed by good looking puppets that'll appeal to whatever generation of tasteless teenage girls it's aimed at regardless of how bad the tunes are, and sadly it'll never stop entering the music charts while there are scrupulous promoters prepared to cash in on the idea, however, the best thing to do if you don't like it is ignore it.
Works for most, and you can then focus on constructively discussing what you do actually like.
Why not contribute positively to the What Are You Listening To?, Review Your Last Concert or Classic Albums threads instead of moaning about the latest ghastly product of the pop-music money-go-round?
