Handwriting refers to both forms. The first form is called cursive.

I think I understand what your saying there...., oddly enough. It depends on my mood what my hand writting looks like. If I have to write a lot, it's not in all caps as it is shown above, but rather more like rounded letters, but nothing as rounded as most girlz handwritting as Boombexus might suggest. I just hate being called mature, it makes me feel so old. The other day we were eating out and the waiter called me SIR!!! I was ready to strangle him then and there....., I guess I'm fighting my maturity.

Here's mine. The top half of it is pencil, the bottom half is pen. It's still an attempt at being relatively neat though it doesn't look like it.

funny thing about the pencil bit...I had to do major adjustments to the contrast in photoshop to make it show up .
