Youre gothic arent you  , well it sounds like it anyway.
i am not a gothic. i listen to some black metal, but thats it. just like i listen to some punk without being an anarchist who throws stones at policemen.

i am someone who does not base his thoughts on prejudices.

FACE! sicbeing contributes to the closed-minded percentage of our community. I'm glad you're around, vladimir.

Better than the guy this thread's about, I'm sure.

I'm worried though. I just listened to some Marilyn Manson and I think I might go kill myself because that's what everyone expects.

I remember walking across a beach at a place called Fairlight, and i saw something floating in the water...it was a pretty bashed up dead man, all cut and stuff, i screamed and ran off

For me, the scariest thing I've encountered like this was when I found a car that had actually skidded off a highway and into the forest stopping at a tree. The guy inside was cut up and couldn't move with 2 broken legs.

I would have ran if he was dead. But I just called 911. Can't say I saved his life. He wasn't very badly hurt.

Pfft man that aint scary.

True friggin story. When i was still living in our old old house back when i was around 12 maybe. I was home alone watching TV mindind my own damn buisness. When I heard a noise and I looked at the door and saw the door handle slowly turn. I was sure NOBODY was home my sister and brother were working and my parents were out. I spent the next hour or more frozen staring at the door until my sister came home. Damn if that door opened man I would've jumped out the window. Or hauled major ass downstairs.

I'm 22 now but I can't watch movies like White Noise,The Amityville Horror etc. After **** like that you just don't.

Mmmmm...weird?!!? (cue 'Twilight Zone' music)

Talking of scary, sometimes my Piano plays ITSELF!

It will suddenley play a clash of two or three notes...

Also, when I was little, bout 2 or 3 yrs old, my mum said I used to talk to a 'blonde haired girl with blue eyes' in the Bathroom, and it used to scare her ****less cos I used to have proper conversations with her and always used to do as she said...I can't remember ANY of it, but ain't that weird? :indiff:

the first guy who hanged himself mentioned above...if he didnt listen to the music that talks about suicide...do you think he would have still killed himself?

i believe music is a BIG influence on your life...music carries emotions, and the more you listen to a type of music, the more it gets to you (whatever emotion it may be)

Not necessarily, I know tons of people who listens to stuff like this, and they're normal and fine. As for me, sure I listen to manson and music like this, sure I cut myself, sure I've tried to kill myself but was it the music that influenced me? No. I'm not a fan of people who judge people's actions by what music they listen to. Usually people who do these things, have certain problems, such as family problems stress or something else. Music usually does not influence you to kill yourself. People who get influenced by music to kill themselves are true idiots.....

Guys, I have a story for you.

2 weeks ago I tried to commit suicide. Tried to open my veins in the bathroom at school. Didn't suceed, I had not the strength to, and my blade wasn't sharp enough.

I'm a normal teenager as some of you may have seen in the "pic of yourself" thread, I don't listen to Emo, I listen to classic, relax hip-hop and instrumentals.

I have my 2 parents. I have many friends and I'm considered a "cool" at school.

I won't explain my reasons because I am not over it yet.

The only thing I can explain is that, when you are in such a situation, you think only about the present moment, not tomorrow. I came to the point where I had no solutions.

I'm thankful to my main core of friends, 4 at max! It's true that it's in those situations that you discover who are your real friends.

i do believe music CAN have a direct impact and influence on the person who commits suicide, not always

the CHANCES of a kid killing themselves with listening to music such as manson are, i believe, MUCH greater than someone that listens to music such as beethoven or mozart

I'll agree with you there, I was just stating the fact that not everyone who listens to manson or something similar are not instantly suicidal.

That took a lot of courage to say.
