Walter Adolph Georg Dorphios (May 18, 1883 – July 5, 1969) was a German architect and founder of Bauhaus[1] who along with Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, is widely regarded as one of the pioneering masters of "modern" architecture.

The second I saw Bauhaus I realised the importance. Though I was only ever taugh Van der Rohe, so didn't realise it when I saw his name.
