OK, so this day turned out to be even better than I expected. Before we headed out my wife asked me to help her move a box at church that had supplies for Vacation Bible School in it. When we got there my entire family and all my friends were there, including some that live a five hour drive away and others I hadn't seen since my wedding. After the party then some of my friends and I went and played disc golf. I was supposed to have a cookout tomorrow and my wife found a way to work that into her plans so that I didn't get suspicious. So, then we had a cookout and large amounts of beer. In fact, two of my friends gave me beer for my birthday.
In all my wife managed to pull together a surprise party with over 20 people. It was one of those moments when you realize that while you may hang out with four or five people regularly you have a very large number of family and friends.
So, thanks to my wife, what I thought would be a fun birthday turned out to be an all around great day.
And my wife bought me a Wheel Stand Pro!!!
