Happy New Years anyways since I'm def not going to be here at 12. lol

Damn Thiele, 15mins earlier and you would be right on spot. Your in SA...so your half an hour ahead...

That makes NO sense, turbo lag is in Melbourne and is 1 hour ahead...ugh, 7:20am is not a good time to be thinking.

HAPPY NEW YEAR GTP!!!!!!

Queensland doesn't believe in daylight savings. It confuses their cows and makes their curtains fade faster :)

Happy New Year to you all.

Well it's 6:28p.m. here so just under 6 hours to go. Pretty much just killing time until I head down by my friends house and from there we'll head down the West Coast to a massive street party they have every year. Should be great. :sly:

Happy New Year GTP!!!!

Hope everyone has fun, whatever you're doing tonight. :)

We didn't get to go to the beach like we usually do, but last night was fun... i lit all my 12 sparkles at once and started a blaze, my face felt the heat and i could barely hold it...

Aaaaaand we're 2009!

Happy New Year GTP, y'all have a good one this night!

We shot some firewerks, and afterwards we drank our own "fruit-topf" It's at least 5 years old now, and the flavour changes every year :) I don't drink alcohol, but hey! It's only New Year once a year, right? :p:tup:

Fireworks are legal there? :(

Eh? As Alex. would know, I've been on MSN and GTP for every year's eve, for 3 years running. I wouldve made a thread, but meh.

Happy New Year!

Still 5 hours and 20 minutes to go here, but Happy New Year!

We'll be watching TV and I'll be playing games, I suppose :p

From,
Chris.

New Year has to be the lamest holiday ever. It's even lamer than Sweetest Day.

Five hours and 20 minutes to go. After I get the kids to bed, my wife and I will more than likely fire up The Dark Knight at which point I'll fall asleep about an hour into it, she'll tell me to go to bed, I'll say, no I'm alright, fall back asleep, wake up an hour and 45 minutes into the movie, stay awake and finish it, wait until 12:01 and go to bed.

Looks like I'll be hanging out with people from my former job tonight... Rock Band 2, some drinks and such... It shall be epic!

We had official fireworks down at the lake and of course someone had illegal street fireworks:sly:.

No it wasn't me...

Alright, this is officially the stupidest holiday ever. It's seriously not worth taking two days off work for. There are times when my time is worth more than the money, but this is most certainly not one of them. See, I'm hungry. And see, McDonald's is closed. WTF? Sweetest Day used to be the biggest waste of time and calendar space ever, but McDonald's being closed has simply pushed New Year's Eve over the edge. What, you're gonna let all your stupid underage highschool kids off work so they can get drunk? Great! Sounds like a horrible time. Send some of those girls meandering down the road toward my house when they get their fill of alcohol, thanks.

Plus, I can't go drive around and listen to music without fear of getting pulled over and harassed by a money hungry law enforcer (the theory was supported by an attorney I happened to talk to today--he said it's all about money). I've been there done that, specifically on New Year's Eve. Twice. It's ridiculous!

I guess I wouldn't be complaining as much if I had myself a some alcohol, a woman, and a party, eh? Well...time to bust out the wine and celebrate with my frickin' Hot Pocket. Happy New Year!
