I used to do this with a friend of mine. Just Google "parking lot." I can do so well it's unbelievable. For instance, in that picture I posted I can accurately name 27 vehicles plus the Avenger.

Kind of looked like the Merc CLS. I see two side windows--which meant it is a saloon.

Its right next to the red van.

They're changing officially next year, but the "Car of Tomorrow" races will be done in the Avenger. Chevrolet is changing over to the Impala due to the fact that the Monte Carlo goes out of production this fall, and then will change again a year later with the new Zeta-based model.

...I'm not sure of Dodge's official reasoning other than the Avenger is technically "Camry and Fusion sized."

Its been a long-time coming I'm afraid. Thats why they cut the models down to just two this year from the previous three. You can get the "basic" LS with the 3.5L V6 with 224 BHP, or you can get the SS with the 303 BHP 5.3L LS4 V8. There isn't anything in between anymore, and it is kinda sad.

...But hey, the name has had a long-run, and I can't complain too much. It does make you wonder if GM is considering a Chevelle revival, but I nearly doubt it given the positioning of the Camaro. We'll see I suppose...

It looks like Dadge have an idea about trying to sell the Avenger in the UK,a dn admittedly, from the promotional photos, it looks rather cool.

They'll be aiming the Avenger at people who'd typically buy a Ford Mondeo, or maybe a BMW 3-Series, but there's no way it'll gain much of a share of the market if the build quality is poor, or it it doesn't drive as well as the rival cars mentioned.

The irony in that, as I said in the original thread about this car, is that they are both crap. As such, I don't understand why everyone acts so shocked as to how it isn't a coupe anymore. With the Charger, I can understand. That was good at one point in time. What fopnd coupe memories can you have of the orinal Avenger? How you were able to trick your stupider friends into thinking it was a Stealth? What?
However, I personally like the styling of the Avenger (baring the rear end), and think it to be better looking than the Charger. Or at least the Sebring.

Actually I do have fond memories of the original Avenger. Granted they are before I cared about such things as RWD > FWD. From a styling standpoint the old Avenger is one of the only Dodge products (*cough*Mitsu) which I like the exterior AND interior. You have to admit, this new Avenger is dreadful.

Its what I have understood in browsing the Top Gear website, and there was a rant I went off on a while back about how silly I thought it was. I mean it isn't like the car is all that horrible, but most sane Americans aren't going to be shocked by the quality of the car...

...If you've been in a Caliber, you'll understand what it's like. Not horribly bad, like Hyundai circa 1998, but certainly not best-in-class, like the Honda Accord...

Chassis wise, it is capable, but Dodge won't put all of the bread in the basket. Early impressions have said that the car is bet suited to motoring on the highway, so if you're looking for cheap transportation on the M1 or the A4 every day, it wouldn't be too bad. Performance wise, you guys aren't getting the big engine from what I understand, but it will have a diesel V6, an option we won't have in America, which is rather unfortunate.

I've sat in one, I've tinkered with one, and I wasn't impressed. But I would like to take one for a drive, just to get an even better idea of what it is like...
