NEW CHANGES MADE !!! READ THIS !!!

FOR ALL THE IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND WHY ITS CALLED HARDCORE DRIFTING JUST LOOK AT THIS VIDEO

Drift king Unleashed/Kansai Drifting/No Handbrake!!!/THIS IS HARDCORE

This is just me practicing, I decided to go time trial so people can see you dont need any settings to drift and to make it even harder for me. I went with the S2 tires to drift as fast as possible and very sideways at the same time and have a certain level of realism and a well balanced car that can not also drift but also turn properly and handle like it should. I also choose to go no handbrake because its even more challenging. hope you enjoy :D

I dont know how to put the high quality on the forum, but on youtube you can click watch in high quality

PS. I changed the video from the original

Hello Martin3z420 i have just viewed your video, when u say that your trying some really hard lines, i would have to disagree with u on that statement and say that your cliping points are way off. I also wanted to correct your statement about using the handbreak, as it is alot more difficult using a handbreak (when it is used properly) and being able to catch the slide.

Nice video tho i like the screen. What size exactally is your monitor? Good practice run, keep on practicing and u will eventually make it all the way around the track man :)

thanks for the comment, when i talk about the hard lines im tryin I mean linking the tunnel with the next sweeper without the handbrake going 170km/h (look at 0:58) or linking the turn before the little wood bridge with the uphill hairpin without the handbrake going 170km/h also (look at 1:12), you obviously never tryed to drift the blitz skyline in eiger reverse with S2 tires on the time trial, and you obviously dont have your wheel set to 8 without the power assisted sterring, thats what makes all the difference between easy and hard. Im not saying im better or anything but what i am tryin is very hard to do especially with the limited steering angle to 40 instead of 50 and my particular Driving Force Pro steering wheel being smaller and cheaper quality and without a clutch, I really cant wait to get a G25, anyways my screen is a 40inch Full HD with 10000:1 I think

And BTW the handbrake is often use to correct your mistakes and to maintain oversteer and such, not allowing you to use the handbrake to correct mistakes dosent allow you to make any mistakes, therefor makes it harder...

Id like to see someone post a video with the exact same settings and show me the best they can do I dont care if they are better or not.

Nice screen, and yes i have my logitech g25 with a force feed back setting at 10 with power assist off and no other driving aids. The blitz is already set up to be a drift car and it handles nicely with s2 tires.

I do have to ask why u would say something like "you obviously dont have your wheel set to 8 without the power assisted sterring". The power steering assist is just bogus and is fake as all can be when it comes to relizm. Also my car doesn't have power steering so i set my wheel up to the max force feed back possible to resemble my car.

Ps why dont u come back to drift chat ;) we all miss the self proclaimed "drift king"

Hi Martin3z420 sorry to say it but
all i saw here was spin outs and understeer = restart.... when you can drive whole laps without crashing ,consider posting that instead of restart after restart.... hardly hardcore and i want my 4 mins back for watching this.
I watched the whole way though expecting to see something good....

I just wanted to show it was hard and that anyone can crash every now and then and do a live video without editing, but I decided to take the video down because to many people complained about the spin outs already, I thought it was a good idea in the first place but i guess not, ill be doing another video with editing of my best runs with no spin outs soo nobody will whine... I cant believe nobody seen the nice drifting in the video and only saw the crashes :S thank for telling me tough

And seriously I find it very hard to drift with this wheel along with every person who tried my setup soo I think from now im gonna wait till I get a G25 to start making videos

The difference between the g25 and the dfp wont make u spin out and crash any less. Keep practicing and u will get it down. I agree with dori but i watched the video 2 times trying to see this "nice drifting" and im yet to see it. There were about 3 corners that looked decent till u hit the exit point and wasnt able to put yourself into the right position to hit the next section.

So i ask u where can i get 8 mins of my life back? If u spend the time to make a drifting video why not set the car up to your liking and make the drifts look better than trying to do the time attack and make urself look worse than u probly really are..

I know u have some skills so why not put them to use and make a better looking video so people can actually learn something or just enjoy watching

I was tryin something new, i wanted to use only 1 video sequence and show people who dont play gt5 its hard and also show that drifting in general is hard and takes alot of practice and crash is part of it... anyways I guess your right about making a better video...here it is

The video looks alittle better since u edited it alittle. I do think that its cool that you have the camera on real play so you can see your hands and wheel moving that isnt done much on videos. I understand that this video is on time trials and the quick tune option is not avialable and your limited to s2 tires, but when i was saying make a better video that will show off your drifting talents i ment to say you should record a video of the car setup the way you are comfortable drifting so you can show that you know and can hit the right lines.

On a side note my god i never knew that the dfp sounded that LOUD im so glad i got the g25 or my wife would kill me during those LATE night drift sessions haha.

I see that u have some editing software at your disposal so martin3z make the same style video just do it on free run or something where u can set the car up so u can feel more comfortable with it. It looks like ur having a hell of a time, i think that is what u were going for tho? Trying to show ppl that drifting is hard, but if u fine tune the car to your liking then it shouldnt ever be that hard to controll. My point here is why would you make a video to show off your skills when the vehicle your driving isn't dialed in right to show your full potential? kind of a catch 22 if u ask me.

In the future since you have some editing software add some low volume music and maybe some credits that will always add to your overall video. Good job on the edit

this is a game, its not real life, im not trying to get the best in the world in the game, im trying to make it has hard has possible for me to drift so when i actually get to drifting in real life or even in the game with the easiest setting possible it will seem easy to me. I use gt5 to practice, im always changing cars, changing tracks, changing wheel settings and all sorts of things to get the most experience out of it, I do it because its a game and there are no serious competitons or even online private rooms or whatever but in real life i would take a totally different approach, I would only drift 1 car for awhile. Alot of people told me to make a video with stock settings soo now its done. ill do as you said for the next movie i think but im not sure what view or what track or what car or tires to use

btw im not limited to s2 tires, i can take anything under, but i choose s2 because i think they are the hardest and probably the most realistic tires to drift with depending on the car, but for the blitz for example, I also drifted eiger nordwand time trial with a stock 350z and it worked great on s2

hahaha martin. did u really had to edit the vid from the parts where you crashed cuz of my comment?? dude im sorry but that just cracks me up

If you wanna try something hard, try the Blitz with R3 fronts, N1 rears and try to tandem with someone

more then 5 people told me the same thing man it took me 15mins to do a quick edit and now nobody can open their mouths, and everyone is happy

i might try it for fun

Your attitude really sinks you. You drift quiet good, a little misses here and there but there is potential. Its smoother and smoother as the video goes, interesting to see the development.

Please drop the attitude. This forum is filled with great drifters. A video of "Hardcore Drifting" by a self-claimed Drift King leaves high expectations that was left unsatisfied.

hardcore drifting practice is what that video is, I cant believe nobody even understands. and by the way man wtf are you talkin about my attitude, whats wrong with it, because i choose to name the video drift king to get more views you call that having a bad attitude, i think you gotta chill man, and if you cant agree drifting with S2 tires in time trial with no assist and force feedback to 8 with no power assisted steering is hardcore practice man you dont know what the **** your talking about

I challenge anybody to make a better video using s2 tires, time trial, dfp, ff8, no power assisted steering, ER34 on that same track, just go try it and you will understand whats hardcore soon enough man

I say red, you say blue. I wont take this any further, its no point.

i think everyone needs to relax, and see everyone has a differnet IDEA and STYLE to how they drift. Some just do it casually, some are serious enthusiasts who actually drift in real life, or apire to when possible. Different strokes for different folks. I respect Martin3z420 for trying to challenge himself as much as possible by making it more difficult to pull off drifts. And i also respect the average Person using n1's etc. because that is their level/idea of drifting. In the end it's all about having fun and understanding the idea/concept of drifting. Obviously all of us in this sub-forum have a common interest, so no need to be hard on others. Ofcourse the closest thing to real seat time would be with a 900* wheel, but using the sixaxis the same IDEAS apply, just not the same methods/movements.

Group Hug anyone?? ((HUG))....J/k :)👍

lol words of wisdom, I agree with what you say 100%, but inside of me I feel like drifting needs more respect as an art and people need to respect its origins, its history, and the way its suppose to be done properly, but of course, once you respect that and have acknowledge all of that information, you can start drifting your own way and doing whatever you want with it. I really believe drifting is like sex, in some way its sacred and everyone do it different, but we all respect some basics but theyre will always be some exceptions and some super nasty people and hoes and all that. I really feel like bringing back the essence of drifting and I dont care what people think about it, I do it in the name of drift, at the same time its just a game lol but its really realistic and life like, i think Gran turismo 5 will have the best driving physics ever seen and im sure all serious drivers will think about using it has a tool. I also think in a few years video games will simply be part of everybodys life and replace alot of dangerous expensive or exclusive activities but of course not completly.

You JUST found that vid? :dunce:

No I didnt just found that vid lmao, I just didnt remember they said (thats hardcore) and that the drift king was drifting without using e-brake using similar techniques, but i wasent really going for kansai drifting, I was practicing high speed weight transfer without the e-brake and feints.
