I was playing and i decided to look in the used dealership, and thats when i saw it a Nomad Lamborghini. Is this the one that was taken out of Gran Turismo 3? (Its not on the collectors book car list.)

Was some time ago so cannot remember exactly but it was close to the 1 million mark and I had invested in a few cars not long before it appeared

Thanks, lately I've been keeping about 6 mil on the books for these types of suprises.

I did that for a while, got up to about 3 million, but just bought the racing Jaguar XJ220 for 1.9 million and a few others so need to build up the credits again and hope I don't see it again until I have enough

PD had licensed the car from the team that raced the car, however, PD didn't end up have Lamborghini's full permission to use the car, so they locked the car out of the non-Japanese version of the game (the Japanese version was released before EU and US versions by like 2.5 months).

The Nomad was a prize car in the Japanese GT3. For the US release the car was replaced as a prize but with the use of an Action Replay you could add the car to your garage. I think I have a US save with that car in it. PAL territories of course had the bad deal as the body of the car was removed from the game (as was also the case with the 6 F1 cars again due to licensing/copyright). PAL just got what was to become the FGT as their sole F1 car in GT3. All the other parts to the cars were still there so you could play with them provided you were somewhat creative with an Action Replay.

I have been waiting for that NOMAD to appear for weeks. I suspect that I missed it when doing a long event. I am on my third run through the UCD (I think) as the FGT just appeared again. No worries on money though as I have been doing the Extreme Euro Rome race (trying out more Euro cars) and have around 15 million waiting for the "right" cars to appear in the UCD! NOMAD plus C9 or XJR9 for preference!

I have one, a challenge to drive it with all aids off, but rewarding. A shame imo that it is quite ugly modelled, even for a standard car.

I'm annoyed now. Had to pass the Mclaren BMW race car and the Nomad Diablo both twice due to a lack of credits. Probably won't see them for ages now.
