Are you referring to the puppet-toon from the late 60s? I used to watch them when I was a kid. They're awesome if you like that kind of thing, though the vehicles were not a s cool as the ones in the Thunderbirds.
Aww thanks allot now I have the theme stuck in my head. The BBC usually re runs these on BBC 2 occasionally, although I havent watched them since I was a kid.Although I did make the mysterons shiny thing with 2 cd's.

You're missing the point man, it wasn't about the vehicles. He was indistructable , although I have some doubts about that because I swear he always used to faint at a point and come to in a hospital bed. I mean surely if he is indistructable he might be able to keep concious.

Just thinking about the camp way that they walked is making me laugh. I wouldn't mind seeing them again though, I did watch them quite allot when I was younger.

I think that was Thunderbirds. I used to watch that one, and a bunch of Japanese series. One was called Specra Man. Any one remember it? With that big fin on his metal head, shooting death beams out of his hands, and flying around?
There was another Japanese one, too. A family that turned into rockets and bak into people again.

It wasn't animated. I wish I could remember. They were all on a station that played all those Japanese shows, including Speed Racer... and all the monster movies on the weekends... Godzilla, Gamera, etc. And they also played Clutch Cargo.
Funny how anime is regarded as some new, hip thing, when Speed Racer had come and gone 20 years ago.... only to have a brief revival about eight years ago in some techno/porno dance song

That might be "Stingray". It's about this underwater war and the main machine is the submarine called Stingray.
I watched Captain Scarlet (It arrived finally!), and I actually liked it better than Thunderbirds. More serious tone than Thunderbirds. But I can't believe how many times he dies!
