Has anyone else come across this minor glitch?

Came across this a while ago but never made a post about it: When you go to select a car from your garage in the Arcade Mode, has anyone seen the bar for top speed completely red as if there is some type of error? You know when you first highlight a car and then the meters for handling, accelaration, and top speed all fill up to the max, then go back down. Well with this glitch, instead of the top speed meter going back down as usual, it fills all the way up and turns completely red. I noticed this on my last game save with the Impreza, and now on my new save I bought a Lancer and the same thing happened. At first when I saw it I thought "Whoa! This car must be really fast!" Then I saw it was the Impreza and I knew there was some type of glitch.

Has anyone else seen this or is my game just screwed up?
 
ì think this was designed that way... kinda like when you rev your engine, the needle will go all the way to the limit and come back down (in my case anyway, which would explain why i keep breaking things...)
