Has Anyone else noticed that in 2player the 2nd player CANNOT use NOS???

Thanks for the reply mate, may I ask you to go in controls and see if in the buttons for the 2nd controller the "special button" for NOS is greyed out? If it's not perhaps there is a trick around that which me and my friends have not figured out yet. I'd really appreciate it.

Btw, has this been tested between equal cars? I just got the game so I don't even know if it's possible to use N2O on all cars.

Honestly, I don't own the game. 3 of my friends do and I've had 2 sessions around theirs over the last weekend. From what I've seen every car I've tuned can have NOS. Also in the game that we tried to have my car already had NOS installed and worked fine in single player, career mode. But in 2 player NOS did not work when I pressed the button. I worked for player 1 though. Controllers were dual shock PS2 standard controllers, Sony ones. So we were a bit puzzled, we went to controller settings and to our dismay the special button for controller 2 was greyed out, set to none and we could not change it.

I hope this explains the problem in more detail, any feedback would be welcome.

Hmm Im back from work and checked the options, but I couldn't find the option to enabling/disable the N2O anywhere, must have imagined it

I did find the possibility to enable/disable Driving assists under Arcade Settings, but I have no idea if this works for 2Player mode too, I'll test it lateron.

My button for N2O on the 2nd controller is greyed out too... could it possibly have anything to do with the ammount of A-spec points or the progress of the game? Would be strange but who knows. I just started so I have like 10% completed and just a handfull of A-spec points.

[edit] Ok, when you've enabled driving assists in the options under Arcade and you select a car from the manufactors list in 2 player mode, you can activage ASM and TCS there

I have the same problem it wont let me use nitrous on the second player when i load both cars from my garage. Its rather gay.
But sometimes it lets second player use Nitrous when i play my friend and he loads his game first and i have my memory card in second slot to load my garage.

Is there a way to fix this so second player can use nitrous as well.
Also what are these different versions of gt4 you guys are speaking of?

As far as your settings go, I can't really help you with that, BUT for all that is good and holy, please never call it NOS. The only people that call Nitrous NOS are ricers and people that learned what they know about cars from Fast and Furious. I only say this because people that know cars will laugh and point at you.
