Has anyone raced the F10 in GT5 and compared it to the F10 in F1 2010?F1 2010-2016

I was just curious? I know you can't do any races with the F10 in GT5 except for arcade and practice, but I was wondering if anyone has it for GT5? I would be very interested in knowing how they compare? Monza would be great to compare the two in seeing as GT5 has that track in it now. What do you all think?

So I haven't done any extensive testing yet, but I just got the F10 in GT5. First off you can't do anything with it in GT5. No A-spec, B-spec, Special, not even Split screen!!! This is what pissed me off the most. I have two wheels specifically for some split screen racing, but you can't do it with GT5 and the F10. If F1 2010 had split screen then I would probably sell GT5.

Now onto how it drives. Really easy! Even with all the assists off the thing is a piece of cake to handle in GT5. Feels actually kinda unrealistic. When it starts to break lose its super easy to catch it and continue on your way. Where as in F1 2010 when it starts to break lose its pretty damn hard to catch it. Plus the tracks in F1 2010 are way better. Its a hell of a lot easier to see the distance boards to the turns on F1 2010 where as in GT5 your sidetracked by that stupid red flashing downshift indicator.

Again, I haven't done anything extensive yet. This is based on 4 laps around the highspeed ring with the default setup in the F10. I'll update when I get some more time on it in GT5. The problem is you just can't use it at all in GT5!

The main difference I find between the two is that the F10 in GT5 feels like it has a lot more aero grip while the F1 2010 machine is much more stable when at speed. (I tried to warm up the tires at speed and nearly spin off in the GT5 F10)

The GT5 variation is a lot easier to drive at at any track and doesn't need extensive changes to it's setup to be fast. It's fun to drive, although perhaps too easy for the top step of Motor Racing.

Also, the AI doesn't like the F10 at Deep Forest.

I am a big fan of both games, and have been switching back in forth between the two in the last few weeks. I haven't yet driven the GT5 F10, but if it's anything like the F1 cars of past GT games, then I'd have to go with F1:2010 being more realistic. I attended Skip Barber Racing School to learn open wheel racing, and the F1:2010 cars are about as realistic as it gets for a simulation. The lack of turning while braking is very real, which is why it's so important to know every turn in and out. F1: 2010 requires so much more work to win races, and even though winning doesn't get you rewards or new cars, I feel much more rewarded for taking 1st place. I just wish GT5 offered a little more competition. Even the F1: 2010 AI is better, they actually avoid crashing into you, unlike GT5 where they'll pit manuever you right off the track.

The Top Speed in the Gran Turismo F10 is really low, like 211 mph with the lowest downforce setup. In the F1 2010, the top speed at SPA easily exceeds 220 mph in a fully R&D'd car and still going.

The Acceleration feels slower in the GT5 F10. It almost accelerates like an Audi R10 LMP-C car. The car is at 710 BHP max....Less with miles on it. The F10 has excellent grip in GT5, its really hard to actually spin the car.

The GT5 version is much much more detailed. It looks and feels more real. Likely the physics in GT5 are "on" and the F1 2010 physics are "off". The cars feel planted in GT5, the cars feel pointed in F1 2010.

The in car cam is more visible, you can choose cockpit view and see in front of you with GT5, in F1 2010 you cant see a damn thing without hood cam.

I like F1 2010, but I've had a lot more trouble laying down fast laps in that game. I'm "better" at GT5 and so I'm more likely to stick with GT5.
