Has anyone tried borrow trick with GTA cars?

Standby one while I hijack this thread a little.



Even without people who think this way the world is a very cruel place. If you doubt the veracity of this claim take a tour. On this tour visit any Children's Hospital, Cancer Ward/Center, tornado/hurricane/earthquake, etc. disaster site, third world country without basic sanitation facilities and tyrannical gov't, then come back and tell me it's not.

Yes there are good, non-cruel people and places in the world, but going on a tour such as described might put a little perspective on losing an "irreplaceable" batch of 0s and 1s, which I would argue, is in no way, shape or form irreplaceable, even without the backup facility. Although, getting it replaced, if a GTA prize car was indeed lost, would probably take more time than earning it did.

My feelings 100% sir. Thats why I have given permission to a friend to try the sponge glitch on my GTA cars. If I loose them, big whoop.:)

When I hear back whether it worked or not, I'll post it.
 
If you just want to borrow them for the seasonal event I can help you out, but not If you're after owning them.

Hmm. Not trying to stir things up or start "crap" with you. I respect that you are willing to help others in this and any other endeavors you may be involved with. Just stating my opinion and using your remarks as a common frame of reference. As for being unnecessary, that could be said for this thread, forum, entire website, and the entertainment industry as a whole. None of it's, strictly speaking, necessary to any of us drawing our next breath.

It's nothing personal KB, since I would put you in that group of good non-cruel people, just playing this part of the game during lulls at work. I apologize if you took offence to my remarks but I will still stand by them in any event.

I saw it your way. I think he might've accidentally been offended about the part of losing 0's and 1's from someone possibly, though it isn't possible, stealing his GT Academy car.

Its fine. I see what you're saying now. My misunderstanding. We're all good.
 
I should point out that most of the GTA events were pretty easy, so it was not "that" much work to earn them.

The last event was tough, so maybe it is fair not to share the last car and keep the number of people attempting the time trial low.

P.S. I earned all the cars except the last one, and I am OK with missing out on that upcoming event.
 
I am putting the academy car borrow trick into action starting now before I go to bed, I will run updates while I'm asleep and let everyone know 100% yes or no if it works on academy cars!!! 👍
