The main reason I still play GT5 is to test cars around certain tracks. I have three tracks that I do time trials around. I buy a car stock, and choose which one of three categories it fits into (high performance road cars, road cars and racing cars). Then I do an oil change and (if the car is used) a car wash. l Then buy a set of tires and hot lap the car around a track. Here are the tracks and tyres I use I use:
-> Nordschleife-High performance road cars-Sports Soft tyres
-> Eiger Nordwand-Road cars-Comfort Soft tyres
-> Suzuka-Racing cars-Racing Medium tyres
Now that part isn't really crazy, it's just me being OCD and wanting everything to be organised
The crazy part is that as I drive these cars around the track I find myself reviewing them in a Jeremy Clarkson-esque fashion. I am kept occupied for hours talking in my head about the intricacies of each car. I sometimes even find myself making stupid metaphors - "Driving the Caterham is like masturbation. Very fun, very exciting, but you would be very embarassed if anyone ever saw you"
Have I officially lost my mind?
