It's been only three days since i got my own copy of GT5 and i barely found the time to do some events. But after discovering all the game menus i couldn't find the test section where i can record my car's top speed as well as the 0-400m and 0-1000m times.

Did this feature disapper from GT5 or is it unlockable later in the game?

Then i will miss it.. I think it's necessary for a racing simulation to have this feature. It's pretty weird that they have removed it, especially when you think it was included in all previous GTs...

Agreed. The drag race feature was also nifty. :)

I posted a thread just like this one the day after GT5 was released in America. :( I agree, I'm really missing the Test Curse. Like I've said several times before, it's the best place to really get a true top speed going. GT5's current ovals (Indy and Daytona) scrub off too much speed in the turns, and are not truely suitable for top speed testing.

PD have taken so many steps back with GT5 over GT4. The resources wasted on that mockery of a B-spec mode could've been well put into other more useful stuff:grumpy:

Recreating the Test Course in PS3 graphics isn't a hard task knowing what the guys at Polyphony are capable of... So i doubt that time was a factor for its absense from the game...

Sir, there's no need to talk, your avatar says it all. :D

I used the word "disappeared" because it was on all the previous GT games. Sorry if my sentence wasn't clear!

"...Test Curse..."

Yes, that's what I'd call it too.
