I won't be checking in often to make comments here. Let me just offer my own comments and almost promptly leave...
Some YouTube people are just terrible. Like an AOL Chat Room. One guy (or girl, but usually guys) comes in and start making foul comments. That's why I would want to come up with interesting YouTube material and not material bound to start a fight. There's little or no moderation on YouTube. It's why people inspired by "Jackass" put movies on YouTube just to look like bloody fools and deal humanity a cruel hand.

This is just the problem that really annoys me about some people on the Internet in general... people just want to go at it online. People just want to start a fight online and degenerate themselves. Take disagreement, for example. It's okay to say you don't like something. It's NOT okay when someone makes fun of someone else. Like everybody's supposed to agree with you and your ideas. And if we don't, we're the scum of the Earth. No. Listen, player. YOU are the one that's the scum of the earth. And use proper English. I don't understand "ur gay" or "stfu." That's been my problem with YouTube comments. People just have nothing better to do but to hate on people just because we disagree on something or have different views. It also ties in to that "we're on the Internet, so how are we supposed to know who's who?" I always say that who am I in real person is reflected online. I'm not a serious foulmouth, I don't text message stuff online (proper English), I don't even wear clothes with mean messages (like "you looked better on Myspace"). I'm as for real as anyone. Just to see YouTube people just make hateful comments and make asses of themselves in comments in videos sickens me. I'm 25 years old, but I have the same "kids nowadays..." attitude of someone 10 or 20 years older than me.
Videos
Allow me to note that I'll mostly focus on certain kinds of videos I've seen on YouTube. I've seen lots of wonderful videos of all kinds of things. The ones that really get to me are all the so-called viral videos of people making pathetic jokes of themselves. Like on G4 when I'm watching "Ninja Warrior" or "Unbeatable Banzuke" and see this viral video of some guy getting owned by hitting something hard. I would never get myself hammered or beaten just to amuse some obnoxious people that only care about people making asses of themselves. It even infuriates me that a lot of people think it's cool posting something illegal or violent like the whole world should see what you come up with. I usually feel jaded with people posting foul stuff on YouTube.
On a different note, I usually dislike YouTube videos of speed runs in games. There are some games I've never seen before and never got to know how they look and play. So some people just go make speed runs so that I don't get a full idea of what a game looks and plays like. I hate this. Some of you may have seen me make comments saying something along the lines of only posting something immature or crappy with loud rock music playing. I usually don't like rock music that much, especially when the music is accompanied by something stupid (to me) in a video. This includes only showing crashes with freaking loud rock music. Forgive me if I'm an anti-Christ, but some people just do anything to get noticed, usually something annoying or bad.
And my rant is complete. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll try and battle this 97-degree heat this weekend here in Houston...
