I see that nobody talks here about arcade AI in expert level. it is much better than A-spec's. Try it out sometime. It is fun. They race on the same tires as you choose for your vehicle.

I've tried this several times and I haven't noticed any difference tbh.
What car types do you use?, maybe the A.I. is better with some and not others.

rFactor AI is better than that video shows. That mod just has terrible AI scripts.

GT on the other hand, I've always noticed that the AI will put up a fight until you get ahead. That's when they back off and become much less competitive.
Exactly. If you really want to see what Rfactor AI is capable of then try Game Stock Car which is basically a Rfactor mod.
The problem with Rfactor that it has such a variety of cars and tracks the AI needs to some tuning to help a certain group of cars run on a track.

I noticed that they do that in the enduros as well. While b specing the nurb 4 hour on my x2010, o noticed that all the tuner cars ran racing mediums as well. It's the little touches like that make me enjoy the game that little bit more.

It's like all the AI in GT5 are based on this guy:

LMAO

So true
I hate how they just stop when you get close
but atleast its not like Motorstorm where it seem like their only objective is to mess you up

Robbo6, you're exactly right, and helped prove my point! (thanks)

online can certainly have its moments or pure retardation... but when you find a room with good people, I find it more rewarding and more fun (and I hardly ever win online)
Either way, its still fun.

I don't get the arcade mode, I used it for the 2 player split screen a couple times, and once just to use the data analyzer (for that trophy..) but otherwise I don't see much point to it. Mainly because it won't let you take any car you want...

Here's a TIP for all those out there that crash and burn on the first corner. Don't try to win (cause you never will if you don't drive properly), just try to keep up!

Stirling Moss said: "If you want to finish first, first you have to finish." 'nuff said.

Back OT, the only way to have a decent race with the AI is to spec your car way lower than them (+- 40%?) & use the same tyres as them.

I agree that's where I've had my best vs AI races with cars of equal ability to the one you choose.
