Does anyone have a car in real life that is in GT5? And how does it perform in the game compared to real life?!

I myself have a BMW 330i which I love and managed to get on a trade in the game. The car handles pretty much as the game, the only thing I found was the 100mph and upwards acceleration didn't seem as quick as in real life, but that may be it feels faster because your actually in the car!!

I would love to have the Audi A1 on the game, i have that one on real life.
I also have the audi A4, and it's quite like the real life!

Yes

2007 Mustang GT

The sounds is very accurate, but the handling and performance are a little off. First off the gear ratio's are for the automatic version and not the a manual like I have. But it still doesn't perform like and automatic model does in real life.

I've have owned a '74 Triumph Spitfire 1500 and a 2002 Acura RSX Type-S which are both in the game also (have each in my garage in the proper color, of course:)) My current toy car though isn't in the game and it really bugs me. Why have so many versions of the Lotus Elise but not a single version of the S2 Exige? :(

I deem there are quite a lot people on GTPlanet who have the exact same car as depicted in GT5... The sound of the car would be as accurate as it is in the game since it's based on the actual sounds of vehicles in reality, but the handling and overall performance should be behind the real counterparts.

From what I've seen so far, the closest thing you'll get to an Exige, is the Motor Sport Elise '99. Nice looking car and it flies...

PS - In response to the OP, I used to have a SportKa, which is closely related to the regular Ford Ka. However, you can't make a reasonable facsimile of the SportKa using the in-game Ka.

Yup, i've a B4 and it handles about right.
Give or take. They did good.
I've pirelli P Zero Neros on it and i guess they're about the same as comfort mediums.

My mum drives a car that is basically a rebadged Daihatsu Mira. I'll probably inherit it in the future anyway, so I guess that counts.

I got a Ford Focus Rs, but the one in the game is so much older unfortunatly. Still waiting for my car to appear. i tuned a Ford Focus ST to 305 hp and that was pretty good campare to mine. But the sound was not.

Yes and NO. One of my real life cars is in GT5, but the wrong year.

It's a Standard so it's useless in game. (I don't use standards. I trade them!)

I've only gone by experiences I've had with my friend's cars. And I can report that the Corsa's horn is accurate
and that's all I know really :-/

To my eternal shame. I used to have one of them.

Kudos and prestige if anyone can guess. A small hint, it was a long time ago and I was young, and broke!

I wish this game had the MKII Escort so I could, but the Peugeot 106 handles the same as my friends, so does my moms old Suzuki Swift Sport (I just wish I could get it with stripes) but now she sold that and got a Peugeot 206 and thats bang on too and my stepdads old Hyundai Coupe (which looks identical to the Tiburon Turbulence) but he now drives a Rover 25 (Still can't believe they forgot Rover...)

I have the next model up from the 04 VY commodore SS (mines an 05 VZ) and they sound completely different. Handling wise I can't really say as its hard to compare a game using a controller to wheel and pedals in real life. Either way it's nice to have your car in a game to be able to use

I never even thought to compare horns, I'll try it later lol

One of my dailys is a 94 del sol ( 92 in the game ). It's nimble and accelerates smooth out of corners, where as in the game it's kind of sluggish.

Well, I have an Integrale in real life and I can say that it seems a bit slower in the game altough in handling it's pretty close. I'm looking forward to do a 0-100km/h test (in real life) so I can compare it to the time I did in the game.

I have a Triumph Spitfire race car that is an absolutely brilliant car (I run 2:18-2:20s at VIR which is about the same as your average vintage Vette or Mustang), whereas in the game it is a horrible driver, and no matter how I attempt to set it up it is just a nightmare.

Just as a side note, if you can help me turn the thing into a decently competitive car you'll basically be my hero.

I'll see what I can do, I think I have one of these in the game.

I had an Eunos Roadster (MX5) and that seems bang on. The interior on the premium is perfect (Didn't have my phone holder though, which is the one thing I couldn't get to match!).

Had the Vectra as a company car and never gave it enough stick to see if that is about right. Also had an original Mini, which might have been actually slow like the one in the game, but seemed so very very quick.

Wish my Ford Capri was in GT5 though

My real life car is a Mazda efini RX-7 Type RZ '96 modified by Knightsports in Japan. Link in my signature is a photo of my car in a local car show.
